Attractive, hardy small tree to 6m tall. Soft leaves with distinctly-toothed margins. Wattle-like cream-coloured flowers in Spring are followed by globular fruits. Used in 'wattle and daub' huts by the first European settlers to Port Jackson. Moist, well-drained soil. Frost tolerant.
