Medium/large upright tree to 15m high x 10m wide. Fine pendulous green foliage turns spectacular deep bronze in autumn-winter. Ornamental corky, deeply-fissured bark. Reddish brown flowers at branch end on male plants, red flowers along stems on females. Well- drained soil in full sun. Useful screen, shelterbelt plant. Seeds attract birds as well as the threatened species Glossy Black Cockatoo.
