Shrub, 3-4m tall. Golden and lightly fragrant flowers appear in early Summer and are visited by various native bees. The flowers are pollinated by the bees' buzzing action on the flowers. Sunny or lightly-shaded position, and best in rich well-drained soil with protection from extreme heat and frost. Rare in the wild.
