Fast-growing bushy shrub, 3-4m tall. Attractive dark green leathery foliage on contrasting red stems. Large showy mauve flowers for much of the year, followed by edible flesh in its blue-black fruit. Most soils, preferring some moisture, in full sun. Prune to maintain form and bushy habit.
