Hardy fast-growing tree, to 10m tall in cultivation. Dense sprays of delicately-scented white flowers in spring are followed by large clusters of edible sweet-tasting yellow-orange bird-attracting berries. May become deciduous in dry times. Most rich well-drained soil in full sun or semi shade.
