Dense, bushy shrub, 3-4m tall. Attractive stiff holly-like foliage and bronze new growth. Insignificant greenish flowers are followed by capsular fruit. Most soils in sun or shade. Slow-growing, hardy and long-lived. Provides protection for small birds, bats and insects.
